A common issue faced by travellers at India, is the need to repeatedly provide direction details. It would be great if the user (especially the frequent traveller could save the direction details as text (and if possible voice) in advance . This should get sent to every uber cab that they hail. This will not only improve customer satisfaction but also improve efficiency. Uber cabdrivers will spend less time trying to find the customer thus increasing the number of trips they can do in a day.
One may argue that this should not be required as the gps is Pin pointing the location. At India the need is primarily due to the fact that one location (like a apartment complex can have many flats).
To get around this Uber should implement a feature that allows the user (esp. the frequent traveller) to store the direction details as text (and if possible voice) in advance . This shouldget sent to every uber cab that they hail. This will not only improve customer satisfaction but also improve the efficiency of the transactional process by reducing the interaction time and thus increasing the number of possible trips in a day.
